Big Big Changes
I've not written in here for a while so I was told that I should, hehe. Anyway, there are a lot of things going on for me right now and I'm trying to stop my head from spinning to get everything typed out. I don't even know where to begin so I will just dive right in I guess.
Moving. Yes, I said moving. I'm going to be moving back in with my mom, step dad and two step sisters. I hope that I can handle it and that it isn't like my senior year of high school when I was highly depressive and semi-suicidal. It's been over three years since I've lived there and lived the horror so I hope that this is a big change. They just finished their basement and it's quite awesome looking with beautiful carpet, snazzy color wall paint and a neat entertainment area. Widescreen 60" TV, surround sound and a new couch, YAY! Can't beat it! My room is big enough so I can fit all my bedroom stuff plus my little love seat that I've got here in my apartment now. The longer couch is going in the office for now so I won't have to get rid of it or anything, which is good cause they're a set and wouldn't want to be seperated, lol.
The reason for the move you ask? I'm going to go back to school.....yes, FINALLY! I've been wanting to go to college for over three years now and now I'll get the chance to get back into it and work towards my teaching degree. I hope that all works out cause it's been a dream of mine for sometime and most of my friends have either graduated or are graduating next December and I've not even started yet. By moving back in with them I'll be saving money on rent, utilities and internet so I can work less(work enough to pay the other bills I've got) and focus my efforts on school and getting myself educated. I put in for a transfer to the Circuit City close to the house and it's my old store managers new store so it shouldn't be a problem. As for my current store......it makes me sad. I've become great friends with a lot of people at that store and it's going to be so hard to leave them and not work with them anymore, especially Kelli. Kelli and I have become great friends since we both moved into the imaging department and she said that she almost cried when she read the email I sent her about my leaving. It's nice because everyone has said how much they don't want me to leave and how much they'll miss me but it's also very hard because I don't want to leave them either and I know that I'm going to. :( I hope that I can stay in touch with all my friends from 3376 and still party with them. *sigh*
As for the other stuff......we're going to Florida on December 26th and coming back on January 3rd so that's going to be totally awesome! I've never been to Florida and I can't wait to take pictures of all the beautiful sights and ocean. Oh yeah, I've also NEVER been to a beach before so that will also be a first for me. From what I was told, my step sisters don't know that we're going(it's going to be a surprise on Christmas morning) and we're leaving the next day. Flying to Fort Lauderdale and staying with some of my mom and step dad's friends at their mansion. They also just bought a yacht so they're going to take us down around the Florida keys(if I remember correctly, that's where we're going) and Tom's even hired a Captain so it's going to be all fancy shmancy-like. I've never been on a Yacht, let alone an EIGHTY FOOT YACHT! hehe. So I'm pretty excited about that trip, plus I've not had a vacation since the Vegas trip in March so it's time and well worth the wait I'd say. VIVA LA FLORIDA!
On that note, I'm going to stop typing on here and start to take some nik nacks off the walls....I've not even started to pack and I have to be outta here fairly soon. OH WAIT! One more thing to write about.
Subleasing. Never done it and don't know much about it but that is what we're going to try and do with my apartment. I signed a 12 month lease(at the end of July) and now that I'm moving out 5 months later we need to try and sub lease my apartment for the next 7 months. My mom is coming up tomorrow to bring some fliers that we're going to put around town to try and find someone to sub lease, I just hope we can find someone. *crosses fingers that we find someone ASAP* Ok, that's all for now.
